Our vision is to turn Macquarie Park’s Ivanhoe Estate into a vibrant integrated neighbourhood, creating a haven for the disadvantaged and vulnerable, fostering an inclusive community.
The Team Leader - Assets will be in charge of managing maintenance requests from tenants and other stakeholders, ensuring tenants receive a proactive and responsive maintenance service and are kept informed on status of works.
You will be utilizing your high level interpersonal and professionalism skills to balance multiple team reports, tasks, and priorities to an expert level. Your agility and capacity to pivot between team, clients and projects will be a great asset.
Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Efficiently manage maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide guidance and support to direct supports, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Collaborate seamlessly with tenancy and customer service teams to enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Oversee contractor management, ensuring effective coordination and delivery of services.
• Take charge of maintaining the Asset Management Plan, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Ensure quarterly and annual compliance with contract obligations.
• Track void and leased times, optimizing property occupancy and revenue streams.
• Contribute to budget planning and management, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Develop and maintain property-related documentation and processes to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Obtain or possess a White Card, if required.

Requirements for Success

• Previous experience overseeing and managing community housing initiatives, showcasing the ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver positive outcomes.
• Experience within the Community Housing sector and Asset Management
• Experience and understanding of social housing principles and practices, ensuring a comprehensive approach to program implementation.
• Experience navigating and managing the unique challenges associated with STRADA complexes, ensuring effective operations.
• Well-developed time management skills and the ability to manage a range of tasks at any given time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven Microsoft Excel skills
• Current Drivers Licence
