The role also assists with the orientation of new staff; provides supervision to Client Service Advisors; coaches, mentors and guides the team; including assessment of work practices, documentation and other related activities, as delegated.
This role is based in Eight Mile Plains.
Your role in supporting Anglicare will include:
- Coordinate the on-boarding and orientation of new team members; provide support and guidance on a daily basis.
- Monitor and manage work efficiencies and resources for equitable workloads .
- Act as a mentor; provide support to effectively manage complaints and queries.
- Support the Coordinator, Client Service Operations as required and carry out delegated activities as directed.
- Manage and participate in staff meetings and share information to improve work environment.
- Lead and implement a client focused ethos and contribute to a culture that is productive, professional, collaborative, flexible and aligned to Anglicare values.
- Provide customer relations and advanced administrative functions for the purpose of acquisition and servicing of clients.
- Process and interpret information to ensure all government portals are current, relevant and aligned with organisational strategy.
- Deliver exceptional and professional service; respond to calls and emails in a timely, professional manner.
- Maintain an understanding of regional implications of client referrals to manage expectations.
What you will bring to the role
- Practical experience within a high volume Call Centre or Customer Service environment, preferably at a leadership level.
- Significant practical experience using and updating government portals including My Aged Care.
- Background in a frontline or call centre role, within a sales and customer service environment.
- Leadership skills and the capacity to train and mentor a team; monitor work quality.
- Solutions-focused with experience in gathering and collating information from multiple sources.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Experience in process and procedure development and refinement, with a focus on continuous improvement.
