As a Team Leader Commissioning, you'll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. You'll do it with down-to-earth people who you're proud to work with and get to know.

Here's how:

  • You will lead and manage a team of commissioning specialists, to ensure successful planning, execution and commissioning of Powerlink infrastructure projects.
  • To ensure high quality expert commissioning services are provided to stakeholders, your leadership skills will be needed, including task assignment and performance monitoring.
  • You will manage commissioning programs to support the delivery of a portfolio of projects including high voltage substations, secondary systems and transmission lines.
  • Utilising your strong stakeholder engagement skills, you will provide timely advice and services on project commissioning activities, strategies and requirements.

The community you will join

Based in Brisbane, you will be part of a team of dedicated commissioning professionals, supporting assigned commissioning responsibilities across several projects in Queensland.

Your expertise

  • Degree level qualifications in Electrical Engineering (or a lesser qualification if coupled with significant experience in leading and managing teams involved in the commissioning of high voltage transmission infrastructure)
  • A current ‘C' Class drivers licence

We'd also love you to have:
 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading technical teams involved in the delivery of power infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience overseeing the performance of contractors and related service providers to ensure they deliver according to their contractual obligations.
  • Demonstrated experience and capability in the effective application of safe systems of work, resulting in safe outcomes and/or performance improvement.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in commissioning transmission infrastructure projects is desirable.
