We have an immediate permanent vacancy in our payroll team for someone with good leadership skills and demonstrated experience working in a payroll environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the payroll function and ensuring the delivery of highly responsive, accurate and client focused payroll services. You will lead and provide guidance, training, and development to a small, co-operative, and diligent payroll team including oversight of quality assurance, system, and process improvements.
To be successful for this position, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a payroll environment.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies, projects, policies, and procedures that are tailored to the business.
- Demonstrate the behaviours within the leadership context of Leading Others as outlined below.

This is a permanent, full-time position (part time arrangements may be considered). This process may be used to fill future similar permanent or fixed-term positions that may arise within the Department and across the WA public sector in the next 12 months from the initial date of appointment.
The role will be in our Perth office which is located in the heart of the Perth CBD in a convenient location, above the Perth Underground train station, close to the Wellington Street Bus Station and City CAT services.
