Your Role:
- Supervise daily operations of the GGC Gardening Service Mowing Crew, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Engage with Supported Workers daily to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to OH&S protocols.
- Operate and maintain gardening equipment according to OH&S guidelines.
- Offer hands-on support and supervision, fostering a collaborative and educational environment for Supported Workers.
- Conduct training sessions for the safe use and upkeep of industrial-standard gardening equipment
- Liaise with customers and community members, upholding GGC’s reputation for excellence and service.
- Diligently complete all necessary documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.
What we need from You:
- A proactive approach to obtaining necessary worker screenings, police checks, and clearances (Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening).
- A current First Aid and CPR Certification, or the commitment to obtain one.
- A valid Drivers’ license, with proficiency in operating a manual work utility vehicle.
- Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
- A dedication to working within legislative frameworks, adhering to GGC’s policies and procedures.
