The Role
You will lead an energetic and passionate team of Guest Service Officer within GHM. As the Team Leader in Grand Club you will directly lead team in ensuring that the highest standard of service and guest satisfaction are maintained. You will enhance this while seeking opportunities to support and coach the teams you interact with on how to deliver signature experiences on a consistent basis, in a unique way. As an excellent communicator you will work hand in hand with the wider Hotel teams to provide an unparalleled experience for your guests and team. This role provides the delivery of unique experiences for guests with access to our Executive Lounge located on the 31st floor. Working as part of a large team, the successful candidate will provide unscripted service, applying an innovative and empathetic approach at every guest touch point, creating memorable experience.
Day to Day
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings with employees communicating issues such as rooms occupancy, arrivals & departures, VIP requirements, amenities set up, functions & events, and any other areas of note as required.
- To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Grand Club lounge on a day to day basis including cleanliness, requisitioning, replenishments and staffing.
- To ensure that the Grand Club is adequately stocked with the necessary work materials
- Delegate appropriately the duties and responsibilities
- To ensure the highest level of guest service is available as per guest expectations
- To handle guest enquires
- To ensure the documentation of daily covers & stock consumption is tracked daily
- To manage and ensure food safety policies & procedures are adhered to.
- Outgoing, vibrant and bubbly personality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer and MS Office skills required
- Experience in a similar role or environment preferred
- You will be meeting and greeting our Guests whilst standing all day long so you should be able to tolerate large amounts of standing.
- Please note as this is a Full Time role, only candidates with Full Ongoing Work Rights will be considered.
