Team Leader

Seeking Experienced Team Leader for Brisbane Northern Suburbs Office

Are you a dynamic leader ready to take on a new challenge? We're currently seeking another dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our team based out of our Brisbane Northern Suburbs office.  You will work closely with the other Team Leader & Rostering Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise staff effectively, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Conduct staff supervisions to ensure performance goals are met and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Oversee Supported Independent Living (SIL) programs, ensuring the highest quality of care for our clients.
• Coordinate community access activities, promoting social inclusion and independence for individuals we support.
• Develop and maintain rosters, ensuring adequate staffing levels and coverage for all shifts.
• Available for on-call duties to address any urgent issues or emergencies promptly.
• Create and implement writing support plans to assist individuals in achieving their goals.
• Ensure proper medication administration practices are followed in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Organize and facilitate stakeholder meetings to foster collaboration and address any concerns or issues.
• Prepare progress reports detailing the achievements and challenges within the team and client support.

Requirements
- Proven experience in managing and supervising staff, preferably in a similar healthcare or community services setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of SIL programs, community access services, writing support plans, and medication administration.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Current valid driver's license and access to own vehicle.
