About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader for our Homelessness Program! You will lead an effective and high functioning team of case managers and support workers to deliver client-centred homelessness clients.
Responsibilities include
- Provide specialist expertise to workers to resolve complex issues
- Monitor service performance targets and collaboratively identify strategies to address issues with Manager
- Small client case load may be carried where required and when staff on leave
- Reflective practices are implemented for the team and contribute to improved outcomes for clients
- Reviewing data, evaluation, and feedback on service delivery with the team
This is permanent full-time position, based in Frankston and Rosebud, VIC. You will work in the Frankston office for a minimum of 4 days a week and 1 day at the Rosebud office. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 6 Award.
What you will have
- Tertiary qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field (minimum Diploma) OR
- Demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service, and study/development
- Relevant experience in Social Service environment with focus on homelessness
- Relevant experience in supervising staff
- Extensive experience in client assessment including appropriate information, tools and techniques to gather and analyse information
- Relevant experience using appropriate risk models to assess levels of risk, harm and well-being, including immediate risk
- Relevant experience with client data and reporting systems, people management systems and Microsoft suite
