Form of workWith the 2024 NRL season underway we are expanding our Team Shop team to keep up with merchandise demand. Consequently we are currently looking for a permanent Full Time Team Shop Assistant. To be considered for the position you will be enthusiastic, show initiative and have outstanding customer service standards. You will be the face of the Team Shop and the first point of contact for both existing and new customers, therefore it will be essential that you have the ability to provide a positive experience for customers.
The key duties of the Team Shop Assistant role include:
- Serving and upselling items from the Cowboys Team Shop in a professional manner.
- Ordering Stock.
- Restocking low shop items and ensuring that the sales floor is organised and tidy.
- Maintaining a good knowledge of store items in order to be able to provide advice and recommendations as required.
- Performing cleaning duties as per checklist.
- Meeting and greeting members & guests
- Signing in guests lawfully and encouraging membership
- Ensuring the clubs dress standards are adhered to
- Answering the Club’s phone, as required
To be considered you will display:

- Confidence to effectively converse with a diverse range of customers
- Confidence and ability to upsell
- Computer skills
- Confidence and understanding to enforce Liquor Licensing Laws of Queensland
- Excellent teamwork and time management skills
- Ability to work without supervision.
The successful candidate will have a set roster but will be required to work weekends and night shifts.
