We have an opportunity for a Team Lead - Environmental Technical Advisory. You will lead a team of environmental professionals to provide cross discipline technical and strategic advice including, and not limited to, regulatory environmental approval strategies navigating appropriate State and Commonwealth Environmental policy, specialist environmental impact assessment and ecological advice, and the provision of geospatial and project planning services. This highly technical environmental team supports continuous environmental performance improvements in the design, construction and operation of Water Corporation assets in alignment with Water Corporation Corporate Strategy Thrive 2035.

As a leader within the Environmental Business Unit and reporting to the Manager, Environmental Approvals, Regulation and Performance Section, this role will partner with Section Managers and Team Leaders across the business to shape environmental outcomes throughout the life of our regulated water service assets.
You’ll step into a highly capable team of energetic professionals from various environmental disciplines providing advice and technical quality assurance across the wide range of design, operational and governance processes associated with water service assets.
As a proven leader, you will ensure your team successfully engages and communicates with internal and external stakeholders to influence and guide environmental performance outcomes for both new projects and existing operations.

- Demonstrated experience in dealing developing project with project approvals, Environmental Impact Assessment and the development of management plans;
- Demonstrated experience in securing project outcomes aligned with corporate objectives through working with multidisciplinary teams within and external to your organisation including with Government stakeholders.
- Highly development interpersonal, oral and written skills;
