We are seeking an experienced and passionate Technical Internal Sales Specialist to join our VIC Operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the State Manager and External Sales Representatives.
- Assisting customers with correct selection of electrical components face to face at the branch and over the phone.
- Following up with customers by phone and email.
- Preparing and sending customer quotations, sales orders through to invoicing customers.
- Taking responsibility for all State processes when the State Manager is on the road.
- Gaining a detailed understanding of each customer's business and how the Mechtric product range can assist in delivering customer business objectives.
- Working with the VIC Store person and other Inter-State Operations to ensure all customers' needs are met.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
To be apply for and be successfully in this role you must possess:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an internal or external technical sales role dealing with Electrical Wholesalers, Switchboard Builders, Electrical Contractors
- A minimum of Year 12 or equivalent qualification
- Strong administration skills/experience in processing sales from quotations through to invoicing and collection of cash using a medium to large ERP system.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) and experience in using a ERP system like SAP B1 (preferred)
- Organized, driven, self-starter capable of building a long term professional working relationships with Mechtric's customers.
