OPPORTUNITY
As a Sales Account Manager your role is to develop and manage a pipeline of client (new and existing) across South-East Queensland. You will be responsible for providing valued customers with high level customer service identifying their product and solution needs. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to Business Strategy Development: Actively engage in the formulation and implementation of business strategies, with a particular focus on devising effective sales programs geared towards achieving organizational goals and objectives. This involves analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the alignment of sales initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Strategic Customer Planning and Relationship Management: Undertake strategic planning exercises to assess and prioritize customer needs and preferences, fostering long-term relationships built on trust and mutual value. This entails understanding the unique requirements of different customer segments, tailoring offerings accordingly, and implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Participation in Customer Events and Promotions: Play an active role in organizing and participating in various customer-centric events, promotions, and activities aimed at increasing brand visibility, generating leads, and strengthening relationships with existing customers. This involves coordinating with internal teams and external partners to execute marketing campaigns, product launches, and other promotional initiatives effectively.
- Regional Travel Responsibilities: Be prepared to travel extensively within Southeast Queensland, with occasional trips to Central Queensland and/or Far North Queensland as necessitated by business requirements. This includes attending meetings, conducting client visits, and representing the company at industry conferences and trade shows. Travel may involve overnight stays and necessitate flexibility in scheduling and time management.

CANDIDATE
To be considered for this position b2b (business to business) sales experience is essential. Furthermore, the successful candidate will need to have above average knowledge of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems in any of the following channels; Metals, Stone, Glass, Wood and/or Engineering Plastics. This means you may have previous experience as a Machinist, Operator, Toolmaker, Engineer, Programmer, Designer (CAD/CAM) or similar.
