About the role
Main tasks: Generate new business opportunities and work with an existing portfolio of customers in this varied, field-based sales role.
Other tasks:
Demonstrate your technical aptitude to ensure client needs are clearly understood and fulfilled
Manage tender and proposal processes
Show your ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Liaise with your team and other business divisions to meet business goals
Contribute to the business by generating ideas and opportunities
Network and build rapport with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external
Travel regularly south to northern New South Wales as part of your assigned territory

What you must have to apply for this role:
Prior success in new business sales & account management
Experience with MS Office, and ideally ERP, CRM, & quality assurance software
You will be highly regarded if you also have:
Extensive sales experience in infrastructure or a related space
Knowledge of the construction or steel fabrication industries
The ability to read basic, technical drawings
