With over 116 years of experience, Flexco is a global leader in designing and manufacturing top-quality products for belt conveyor systems. Serving diverse industries like food and beverage, mining, parcel handling, and aviation, Flexco reaches clients worldwide through a network of over 1800 distributor partners.
Your New Role:
Due to business growth, we are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to support Flexco in driving sales revenue and maintaining strong customer relationships. We're seeking individuals with excellent organisational and distributor relationship skills, along with exceptional communication abilities to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Your role will ensure customers receive significant value through our product range, leveraging market data to develop sales plans and target underperforming areas.
Your duties will include:
- Manage and implement the pursuit process and sales of project-related work.
- Conduct sales calls to Engineering and Mining Companies to present Flexco, ensure the company is accepted as a supplier and included in bid RFQs and lists/specifications for project-related work.
- Ensure excellent communication exists within relationships between clients and Flexco.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key decision-makers within engineering and mining companies and with the general customer base.
- Work closely with other Flexco team members (Project sales, field sales and others) to leverage opportunities related to lead generation.
- Ensure the revenue/profit targets of the region are achieved or exceeded.
- Develop and identify solutions to client issues that provide innovation, cost advantage and competitive differentiation.
- Respond to quotation documents and proposal information for customer specific solutions.
- Ensure that a planned approach to maintain existing customers and new customers is implemented.
- Ensure the CRM (Salesforce) is accurate and up to date.
- Complete monthly sales reports and manager selling expenses and costs.

What you will need to succeed:
- Practical mining experience, with a strong technical knowledge of conveyor systems.
- Prior experience in sales will be highly regarded
- Problem solving skills with root cause analysis
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills.
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office
- Pro-active, self-motivated, responsible, willing to work under pressure
- Must be willing to travel to site regularly
