We specialize in Air Core, RC, Diamond drill rigs, and other drilling-related products, serving customers across Australia and globally.We are looking for a motivated Technical Sales Representative with technical experience in a mining or a similar field,with a strong focus on client acquisition and retention.As a Technical Sales Representative at AustEx, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. You will leverage your technical expertise in mining or a related field to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions that meet their requirements.Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and engage potential clients in the mining and exploration industry.
2. Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations of AustEx's products and services.
3. Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized proposals and quotes for clients.
4. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with customers to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
5. Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any technical or operational queries they may have.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
7. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns targeting key market segments.
8. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote AustEx's offerings and expand the customer base.
9. Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
10. Uphold AustEx's reputation for excellence in product quality, customer service, and technical support.Qualifications and Skills:
1. Suitable certification or relevant experience.
2. At least five years' experience in a similar environment.
3. Proven experience in Technical Sales, preferably in the mining or exploration equipment sector.
4. Strong understanding of drilling technologies, equipment, and industry standards.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various levels within organizations.
