About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our New South Wales team.
You will be responsible for the sales development of the company’s products in the New South Wales Hardware and Retail line. You will be responsible for promoting a diverse product range and achieving market penetration.
Working under the direction of the State Sales Manager you will be given the opportunity to establish and further grow our Hardware and Retail line products across the state.
The Role
- Supporting Key accounts
- Promote Mapei products and their advantages to all existing and new clientele
- Increase Mapei’s footprint with new customers and increased sales within your territory
- Planning and overseeing customer product training programs
- Some regional travel is necessary
- Attending promotional activities
- Product demonstrations
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or related Trade Certificate highly regarded
- At least 5 years’ experience in related industry
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must possess basic organisational and time management skills
- Valid and current motor vehicle driver license
Language & Other Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team member
- Ability to be “hands on” and outcomes-focused
- Have a continuous improvement mindset
