The RoleIn this high energy role, you will work with the IT Operations team to provide Level 2 support for a variety of different internal users and external clients. Please note for this role you MUST HAVE:Unrestricted working rights in Australia & eligibility for Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).Valid Driver's License Please note this will be shift based work between the hours of 6am-12am. All suitable applicants must be available to work during these hours. Your Skills & Experience3 years in a service and support environment - preferably dealing with internal and external customers.Competent demonstrable Unix/Linux OS skills (you understand how to use Unix commands to support troubleshooting)Capability to review and update, and optimise scripts (Unix)Windows Server OS 2016/2019 skills (you understand how to use Windows commands to support troubleshooting)Capability to review and update, and optimise scripts (Win batch and PowerShell)Competent using utilities to troubleshoot application and network related problems.Practical understanding of networking systems (TCP, DNS, WAN, VLAN, VPN, basic switching technologies)Capability to use SQL queries to extract relevant data.
