How will I help?
This role is responsible for leading teams to guide the successful delivery of multiple programs and projects to achieve the strategic technology vision of the Property & Protective Services divisions. A key integrator between business teams, workplace technology, capital delivery works, and enterprise technology teams to transform and optimise technology services. As a trusted advisor the Technology Portfolio Director leads the delivery of large transformational strategic delivery, complex multi team and vendor initiatives and oversees operational performance, driving continuous improvement, effective risk management and strong partnership with internal and external delivery partners.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years' experience leading and delivering large to major technology programs/projects within the Corporate Property and/or Protective Services domains.
The role must be based in Sydney and will require candidates to come into the CBD office.
Responsibilities will involve:
- Construct and drive a suite of technology initiatives to deliver on the business strategy and regulatory commitments.
- Assess and analyse the portfolio for alignment to strategic, financial, regulatory and risk requirements.
- Manage the delivery of concurrent programs ensure delivery to plan and comprehensive and effective stakeholder engagement is in place.
- Establish and build strong trusted partnerships with key business stakeholders, external vendors and key partners including Risk, Finance, Strategy and Technology.
- Work with the other members of the project team, including the project manager, business analysts and change managers, to Make decisions on vendor selection, management of internal talent and manage a large IT budget.
- Ensure operational processes are in place to support technology services, information security and due diligence activities consistently across the Technology portfolio.
- Effective management of risk across both run and change services ensuring timely planning and funding of remediation.
- Establish a high performing team promoting a collaborative and values-based culture.

What do I need?
To be set up for success in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
- 10+ years' experience leading and delivering large to major programs/projects within the Corporate Property and/or Protective Services domains.
- 10+ years delivery experience with one or more of the following characteristics:
- Multiple interdependencies (
- Multiple projects / streams
- Multiple end deliverables
- Indicative cost
2 years * Program/Project Impact: Medium - High [transformative business outcomes]
- Program/Project Risk: Medium - High
- Ambiguous, high risk, volatile projects needing active monitoring.
- 5+ years' experience in the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated experience in communication with Program stakeholders and management of stakeholder expectations.
