Partnered with a renowned global medical device organization undergoing a strategic shift from a distributor to a direct model, we present an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join their dynamic Endoscopy team.
The Role
As a Territory Manager you will be at the forefront of a pivotal transition, collaborating with a well-established commercial team. You will be immersed in an environment featuring market-leading products, with the anticipation of 5 new launches in 2024. Your primary focus will be on managing sales activities in the QLD area, strategically planning, organizing, and implementing sales programs. Your role is crucial to achieving maximum growth and profitability in alignment with the Endoscopy commercial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily field sales duties, acting as the representative for the complete assigned product range in a specified geographic area.
- Provide monthly reports that clearly detail the performance, opportunities, difficulties, and concerns encountered by the designated Associate Territory Managers.
- Promote the utilization of the Corporate CRM system, and guarantee that Gap Maps, competitive insights, sales opportunities/pipelines, customer database, and customer communications are efficiently organized and maintained with precision for the assigned regions and Associate Territory Managers.
- Frequently assess key accounts and collaborate with assigned Associate Territory Managers to create strategic sales plans aimed at both preserving current business and securing new business opportunities for the company.
- Create new accounts in areas where our client may not currently have a presence by engaging in robust sales activities and fostering customer relationships.
Experience/Qualifications
- Bachelors degree qualified, Life Sciences degree preferred.
- 2-5 years commercial life science experience, ideally within medical devices.
- Prior field sales or management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
