Our client is a global leader in wiper technology and has been providing both trade and retail products for service, parts and aftermarket categories for the last 100 years. An exciting opportunity has now become available to join this quality brand, professional team and supportive workplace.
Your new role will include:
- Managing sales (from the prospecting/cold calling stage to overseeing the implementation) in the automotive, industrial, marine and agricultural sector.
- Maximising market penetration through personal selling to target accounts and actively participating in the implementation of new products targets.
- Leveraging opportunities for the business by building partnerships where these relationships can increase market penetration and expand the offering.
- Increasing market awareness of the product mix through active participation in trade shows and industry associations.
- Having a clear understanding of competitors' activities in this market place and their strengths, weaknesses and business strategies and to generate effective counter-strategies.
- Maintaining Sales Forecasting Reports on a monthly basis.
Who you are:
- 2-4 years Automotive Parts/product sales (Trade or Retail) with a mix of being technically minded and sales oriented
- Curious, entrepreneurial and resilient - you're confident in challenging the status quo-backing yourself with data and results.. You find ways to offer market leading and innovative solutions to customers.
- Modern day hunter, driving commercial innovation and growth: you look for ward to partnering with businesses, suppliers and enjoy exploring strategic sales solutions for mutual benefit.
What is on offer?
This opportunity allows you to flex your hours (24hrs) across the work week. . Accompanying this role will be a base salary + commission + fully maintained company vehicle for the on-target achiever.
