Access theAbout the rolePermanent full time opportunity.It is the purpose of this role to deliver a high standard of care to patients within STARS Procedure Centre including Operating Theatres, Pre-operative, Post Anaesthetic Care Units (PACU) 1 and 2 and Endoscopy Suite through the delivery of high-quality cleaning, patient handling, porterage, waste, and support services.About youOur ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Assist health care professionals in provision of patient care within the STARS Procedure Centre including transporting, manual handling and positioning of patients in a compassionate manner and in accordance with Safe Work Procedures.
• Set up Operating Theatres with tables and equipment appropriate to meet the patient care requirements for each procedure.
• Maintain general and periodic cleaning requirements within the Operating Theatres and associated areas including walls, windows, ceiling, furniture and fittings, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, polishing and changing of curtains in accordance with Infection Control Standards
