An exciting role exists for an experienced Educator to join our team as a Timetable Administration Coordinator in Secondary. This is a critical role in the Secondary School supporting the Secondary Leadership Team with timetable and curriculum support. This would suit a highly capable educator who is proficient with Edval and Timetable experience. This role includes teaching in a variety of areas in particular Mathematics in lower secondary.

About the role
Under the guidance of the Deputy Head of Secondary; Teaching and Learning, this position will have responsibility for the following:
Timetable Development
Using the Subject Selection data, report to Head of Secondary about the demand for Years 9, 10, 11, and 12 courses for consideration and inclusion in the timetable
Using Edval, develop the Secondary timetable
Maintain accurate timetables for students and teachers, updating changes in a timely manner
Optimise the Secondary timetable to maximise efficiency and accommodate changes in enrolment or staffing
Develop examination timetables for Years 9-12
Liaise with School Operations Coordinator and Secondary Learning Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator to develop OLNA and NAPLAN timetables
Ensures that rooming is effective and provides smooth operation in the Secondary School.
Student Placement
Set up and management of Subject Selection Online selections
Administer the timetable and student enrolment data
Manage the placement of Years 7, 8, and 9 students into appropriate classes based on academic requirements, scheduling constraints, and individual needs as informed by Heads of Department and Secondary Learning Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator.
Collaborate with the Deputy Head of Secondary Teaching and Learning, Careers Advisor, and VET Coordinator to ensure that Years 10, 11, and 12 students are placed in courses that align with their academic goals and abilities.
Manage the data related to student enrolment, transfer, and withdrawal processes relating to student records, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders.
Administration of Marks
Oversee the accurate and timely upload of student marks to external agencies
Troubleshoot any issues related to data entry, verification, or reporting
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of student records
Assist with the coordination and collection of data and compilation of reports
Assist in the production process (including proofreading) for Student Semester Reports, in consultation with the Deputy Head of Secondary Teaching and Learning and Head of Secondary
Assist with the administration of VET compliance requirements
Uploading of all Secondary reports and NAPLAN, and OLNA results to SEQTA
Data Analysis
Generate reports and dashboards to inform decision-making by academic leadership and faculty members
Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, and make recommendations for curriculum enhancements or policy changes
Investigate and implement the streamlining of administrative tasks
Complete other relevant tasks as directed by the Principal
The Timetable Administration Coordinator reports to the Head of Secondary through the Deputy Head of Secondary Teaching and Learning, liaises with Heads of Department, Secondary Learning Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator / Learning Enrichment. This is a full-time ongoing position with a 0.5FTE teaching load.

Selection Criteria
Extensive knowledge of Edval Timetabling software
Leadership and coordination of secondary curriculum including SCSA requirements
Proficient in data analysis, trend analysis and ability to manage the timetable of a large Secondary school
Meets deadlines and ability to multi-task
Relational and team orientated
Hold current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
Current Working with Children Check
Appropriate academic qualifications
Ability to work in a co-operative, team environment
Support the Christian ethos of the School
