Our client is looking for a Biosecurity Officer who can conduct inspection, monitoring, surveillance, and information gathering.Your new role
Your goal is to assist the team to achieve efficient and effective delivery of operational goals. Moreover, you will conduct surveillance and collect data and samples to support national and state-based plant pest and disease projects. Most importantly, you will assist stakeholders to manage biosecurity risks associated with diseases and pests.What you'll need to succeed
You have an Australian diploma or associate diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field. Ideally, you have experience in carrying out field-based inspections or surveillance. You are able to undertake inspection of produce and machinery that will require walking over uneven terrain, outdoors in hot environments.What you'll get in return
