About the Role
We have an opportunity, working from our Binders Frame and Truss location as our Trade Business Manager. In this role, with the Wills & Co group, you will head up our Trade Business. You will directly manage our Binders Frame & truss site, whilst overseeing the operations of our Trade Centre, located at Renmark Mitre 10.
The ideal candidate will be proficiently skilled in all matters of business. You will be an exceptional leader, with the ability to provide guidance that creates cohesion and enhances the performance of the business, in a manner which incorporates the company vision and culture.
Your goal is to ensure the profitability of our trade division's activities, to drive sustainable development and long-term success. In your role, you will report directly to the company Directors.
What we need for you:
- Proven experience as a Business Manager or similar leadership role.
- Excellent organization and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of diverse business process, strategy and development.
With the skills above, your day will involve:
- Supervising the work of employees and provide feedback and support to improve efficiency and effectiveness. These employees include our trade sales and customer service team, Estimating/Detailing team, manufacturing, yard/fulfilment and logistic personnel.
- Directly manage the operations of Binders Frame & Truss, whilst overseeing and supporting the manager and team of our Trade Centre, located at Renmark Mitre 10.
- Design & Implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals.
- Ensure the Trade Business has adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities.
- Maintain relationships with Customers and Suppliers.
- Assess overall Trade Business performance.
- Represent the business in events, meetings, conferences, etc.
- Adhere to legal rules, guidelines and promote and encourage a safe workplace.
In addition to the above, other duties may be required to assist the business to deliver its highest level of service to customers as demand fluctuates.
