Job Description
As a Traffic Coordinator within the National Traffic Team, you will be responsible for the application and management of key numbers on our Radio platform as instructed by allocated Sales, clients & agencies to the Commercial Schedules for broadcast as per requirements agreed between Sales Teams, Clients & Agencies and in line with industry legal requirements and National Traffic policies.
Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external customers and clients
Responding in a timely manner to sales and agencies enquiries or requests regarding advertising material for campaign bookings, including for revisions
Liaising with Sales and creative agencies regarding dispatch, approvals and technical requirements
Ensuring all creatives are delivered within the timeframe required to meet published deadlines
Identify any creatives where due to invalid dates, incorrect duration, or any other reason, the creative could not air as per instructions and advise Sales and/or client or their agent asap to provide maximum opportunity for a solution
Respond to and resolve any technical problems with commercial delivery
Any other tasks where required
Qualifications
Essential
High degree of accuracy
Adherence to schedules and deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
Highly motivated professional team member who can respond to challenges with a positive attitude
Competent in the use of both Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Desirable
Knowledge of the Commercial Radio Industry Code of Practice will be highly regarded
Experience within a media environment.
Diploma or Degree related to Media
Methodical troubleshooter
Logical thinker with the ability to clearly communicate ideas
