Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience related to traffic and transport engineering.
- Effective communication to convey traffic solutions to relevant stakeholders and clients.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suites such as Word and Excel.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoTurn software.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strong client relationships.
- Willingness to learn with a ‘yes’ attitude to new challenges and opportunities.
- Road Safety Auditor accreditation is desirable.
- Construction industry experience and auditing skills are desirable.
- Willingness to do things differently and ability to optimise existing processes.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Preparing and providing Traffic Engineering and safety advice with working knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads Guidelines, legislation, best practices, and current trends to deliver innovative and practical traffic and transport solutions. “The Modus Way”.
- Prepare concept and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD.
- Conduct Road Safety Audits and Reviews.
- Attend team and project meetings.
- Collaborate closely with team members across the country.
- Preparation of technical reports, including Traffic Management Plan (TMP), Construction Management Plan (CTMP), and Event Traffic Management Plan (ETMP).
- Project management of assigned tasks to align with project timeframes and budgets.
- Contribution to continuous improvement of tools and processes.
