The Position:
Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a Trainee Administration Officer to join our Brisbane team. Based in Milton, you will work under the mentorship of an Office Coordinator to provide administration support for a busy engineering office.
This is a newly created, full-time opportunity to work for a highly regarded and established consultancy that values its staff, invests in their professional development and rewards generously.
Position Scope:
You will be the face of our business, answering incoming calls from clients for our Brisbane office as well as being responsible for the following:
- Administration support.
- Document Management.
- Project support.
- Document processing.
- Management of office inventory.
- Maintaining office registers and databases.
- Recording meeting minutes.
- Other duties as requested by senior staff and management.
Selection Criteria:
Whilst there will be on the job training and the opportunity for career progression at the end of the traineeship, the successful candidate will ideally have:
- Completed Year 10 (minimum).
- Cert II in Business related course.
- Willingness to undertake a Cert III or Cert IV in Business Administration.
- Experience in using Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills and polite phone manner.
- Immaculate presentation.
- Valid Australian drivers licence.
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
- Professional attitude and commitment to ongoing training and personal improvement.
