Trainee Assistant Property Manager

We are seeking a Trainee/Assistant Property Manager who is passionate, driven and enjoys interacting with people. No prior experience is necessary, but a keen interest in real estate and a desire to learn are essential. While formal qualifications are not required on application, candidates must demonstrate the ability to obtain a Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice within a reasonable timeframe, with opportunities for apprenticeships considered for the right applicant.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing residential rental properties, including tenant communication, property inspections, and maintenance coordination.
• Provide administrative support to the property management team, including data entry, file management, and correspondence.
• Gain exposure to holiday letting operations and assist in managing vacation rental properties.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of the business.

Requirements:

• A genuine interest in property management and a desire to build a career in the real estate industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants, landlords, and colleagues.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to acquire a Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice within a reasonable timeframe. 
• Openness to potential apprenticeship opportunities, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• Enthusiasm for being mentored by senior Property Managers, providing a valuable education and hands-on experience.
