DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Communicate with staff/coaches, referees, students and parents.
• Assist in weekly co-ordination of APS Sport- match scheduling, buses bookings, score collation, etc.
• Assist on practice days- rolls/attendance checks, equipment, coaches.
• Assist on game days- facility set-up, equipment, referees, coaches, photography/video and editing.
• Maintain student database and monitor student involvement and absences.
• Assist with carnival squads: Swimming, Cross-Country, Athletics.
• Assist with Hinterland nominations and South Coast Sport.
• Provide opportunities for coaching PD.
• Assist in securing officials/coaches for all sports.
• Assist with contingency plans – wet weather.
• Assist in event management (carnivals, seminars, sports assemblies, sports awards dinner, special sports dinners, Founders’ Day, etc.), including use of “Meet Manager” software.
• Organise lunchtime activities (eg. 3 on 3 basketball, soccer competitions, etc.)
• Assist in ordering, maintenance and preparation of equipment and uniforms.
• Assist in co-ordination and preparation of facilities.
• Research into better practices and software (student records, carnivals, etc.)- innovate.
• Maintenance/updating of WH&S records.
• Promotional work: photography/video & editing, bulletin, newsletter, portal, pinboards, screens.
• Personal PD in refereeing and/or coaching.
• Coach and/or referee selected sports in Junior/Senior School.
• Drive school vehicles to move equipment.
• General office duties as required.
• Other duties as directed by the Director of Sport.

SALARY
As the successful candidate, you will receive:
$25,000-$40,000 plus 11% Superannuation
- National Training Wage Award
- Fully Funded Qualification
