Trainer And Assessor – Commercial Cookery & Hospitality Management Trainers

As the Commercial Cookery or Hospitality Trainer you will be instrumental in providing our students with an exceptional experience. This role is based at The Culinary Academy, in Noosa Heads.

Duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Train and assess units of the Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma of Hospitality Management
• Report on students progress and feedback
• participate in validation and moderation sessions 
• mark assessments and provide feedback  

Skills and Experience 

• Experience with International and Domestic students
• Minimum 4-year experience in Hospitality (front of House) or Commercial cookery
• Strong understanding of the Standards for RTOs and the CRICOS Code
• Experience working with, and sound understanding of Learning Management Systems
• Efficiency in Office programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Zoom.

• You have currency in Vocational Education and Training and in the Industry 
• Must be willing to undertake professional development and complete a trainer currency matrix prior to commencement 
• Have currency in barista service an advantage

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Hospitality Management (or above) or Coomercial Cookery
• TAE40116, equivalent or above (a MUST)
