Established RTO in Melbourne CBD requires experienced trainers for the following courses:
Business, Management and Leadership
- Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)
- Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership
- Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
- Diploma of Leadership and Management
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Trainers/Assessors are responsible for conducting training, assessment, assessment validation and maintaining academic records in accordance with the requirements of the Training Package, SRTOs 2015 and the ESOS Act.
Trainer/Assessor will manage all training and assessment requirements in accordance with the:
- Requirements of the relevant Training Package
- Requirement of the VET Quality Framework
- The RTOs Training and Assessment Policy and Procedures
- The RTOs access and equity principles
Trainer/Assessor duties include but are not limited to:
- Following the Training and Assessment Strategy for each time-table class
- Training and assessing International students using the RTOs Training and Assessment Materials
- Assessing evidence provided by students in order that they be deemed competent
- Managing students at risk of not completing all units of competency in a qualification during the student's period of enrollment
- Completing all required documentation and submitting this documentation according to the RTOs timelines
- Participating in the RTOs validation processes where required
- Undertaking professional development and participating in annual reviews of performance
- Providing the RTOs Regulator with information when requested
- Providing a Trainer Matrix for all timetabled qualifications
- Providing an annual resume which reflects industry currency relevant to the qualifications that they are training and assessing
- Conforming that they will follow the training and assessments requirements as outlined in the relevant Training Package or Accredited course
- Maintaining the privacy of information that they use or come across in their role as a Trainer/Assessor
- Upholding the integrity of the RTO and the VET system
- Any other duties as directed by their Training Coordinator relevant to the role of a VET trainer/assessor
Minimum qualifications for trainers/assessors are:
Trainers must be able to demonstrate vocational competencies at least to the level of those being delivered and:
- Hold the Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) from the Training and Assessment Training Package.
- Be able to demonstrate equivalent competencies to the level that they are training and assessing.
- Be able to demonstrate industry currency.
