The Position
St Michaels Grammar is seeking to appoint an experienced Property Manager to ensure the school operates smoothly whilst all new facility projects are started, upgraded, and finalised ensuring the school is always safe and secure, for staff, students, and visitors.
This role will report to the Director of Business and the Property Manager is responsible for maintaining and keeping the existing school facilities up to date and running smoothly. The main focus is to ensure all existing facilities are in working order during all the upgrades and as the new projects occur.
This position requires an experienced leader who can communicate well, with proven Project Management experience who will take ownership and can lead complex projects.
Key Selection Criteria
- Excellent stakeholder relationship management skills
- Proven ability to manage, motivate and develop a team
- Strong project and property management background with large maintenance works
- Capability in building lifecycle reporting and compliance
- Operational experience in Property Management and building construction
- Familiarity with property and location data management software systems
- Experience in property and grounds management
- Ideally someone with school experience, who can handle high pressure environments, manage culture who will go above and beyond for the school
