ABOUT THE ROLE:
This recently established role, which reports to the Shared Services Manager, provides you with the opportunity to take charge of the training operations within TS Global.
The perfect candidate for the role wants to step beyond the traditional ‘trainer’ role and help design training programs including working with the Shared Services Manager to develop and deliver a company-wide leadership program.
THE KEY DUTIES
- Engage in the planning process for training, including identifying the needs and gaps
- Develop training programs to support workers across the business
- Deliver effective and interactive training programs
- Ensure all training is not only effective and concise, but also engaging to all participants.
- Schedule, coordinate and manage training activities
- Collaborate with all departments for a cohesive training approach
- Proactively manage implementation of continuous improvement relating to training
- Maintaining accurate records of training activities, including attendance, certificates, competencies and licenses
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a training role within the industrial environment
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or relevant trainer and assessor qualifications
- Champion training and development across TSG
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people
- Ability to liaise with managers and report on training attendance and progress
- Work comfortably in an industrial environment
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Able to stay up to date with training requirements and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
