Job description

Job description
  • Part time (30.4 hrs per week) role within Mental Health and Wellbeing Local Services
  • Work from home and office flexibility
  • Take advantage of salary packaging options to increase your take home pay
Wellways is committed to reconciliation, lived experience and inclusivity. We strongly encourage and warmly welcome people from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, people with a lived experience of mental health and disability and peoplewho identify as LGBTIQA+ to apply. Even if you only meet some of the criteria, we'd love to hear from you.
About the opportunity
Working together, Wellways, Eastern Health, Inspiro Health and Oonah will provide a range of support and therapies specific to what the community needs, whenever and wherever they are needed. Lived experience, inclusivity and partnership will underpin all our work. This is a new way of doing things and creates an amazing opportunity to drive much-needed mental health improvements for our communities.
This role will work with other disciplines to instill hope through positive self-disclosure and positive role modelling, offering practical ways of overcoming day-to-day barriers and by challenging each other to try new things.
Now is your chance to shape the future of mental health and wellbeing in Victoria to ensure that everyone is supported and included.
This key leadership position will coordinate all training, onboarding and induction of the Local Services team. Supported by the Operations Manager, this role will coordinate the Local Services training needs and solutions to help set the team up for success through quality training support and experience.
About You
You are a natural people leader who looks to motivate and inspire outstanding performance within your team. You are conscious about setting the right example to ensure a culture of engagement, belonging and connection is attained.
This position will ensure that all Wellways staff are prepared for delivering high performance and are committed to delivering a great participant experience within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Local Service.
Essentially being flexible in how one approaches work will see this role move seamlessly across the range of demands. For example, moving from having discussions and planning around training program quality and deliverables to facilitating and/or designing eLearning the next. With this naturally comes the necessity to time manage and prioritise workload, projects and tasks effectively.
A bit of extra compliance required:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and or relevant qualification in Organisational Development or Learning and Development
  • Right to Work within Australia
  • National Police Records Check
  • Working with Children Check - Employee
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate - free online course
About Us
Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals are free, voluntary, and easy to access, with no referral required. Importantly, these new services will be delivered on the basis of 'how can we help? and a 'no wrong door' approach, focused on giving choice and control over how the consumer wants to receive support.
This new service will make it easier for the consumer to access the support they need, closer to home and family, carers, and support networks.
Most importantly, Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals are safe spaces for everyone.
What we will offer you
  • A purpose driven culture where people can thrive, everyone is respected, and differences are valued
  • An equitable, diverse, and socially inclusive work environment
  • Salary packaging up to $15,899 enables you to spend a portion of your salary before it is taxed to pay for things like rent, mortgage repayments, car leasing
  • Meal and Entertainment allowance via salary packaging up to $2,650 per annum
  • Receive 17.5% leave loading every time you take annual leave
  • Paid parental leave after 12 months of ongoing employment
