About the Role:
This individual will function to manage the development, creation, and delivery of quality Technical and OEM system training on all RDO Equipment's line of products. This role will focus on upskilling our Technical and Product capability, developing training frameworks and ensuring the quality and standardisation of RDO Equipment's training efforts. Ultimately, you will ensure the team of trainers deliver training that enables relevant employees to develop their technical skills and knowledge and are able to perform their daily tasks to build Customers for life. This role will be based in one of our Support Offices in either Richlands or Loganholme.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:
  • Manage the development and delivery of Technical and Product training courses and assessments for all levels (i.e., beginner, intermediate and advanced) in alignment with the identified applicable Frameworks and OEM Stakeholder requirements utilizing Needs and Gaps analysis data.
  • Manage the quality of Technical and Product Training to ensure up to date, relevant and engaging Training are being delivered by direct reports and Specialist Technical training by other business partner subject matter experts (SME's)
  • Working closely with both internal employees, OEM Partners and 3rd party technical training vendors to assist in the development and delivery of applicable training.
  • Monitor skills and address gaps within the Technician Competency framework working with Product Support and other Departments to identify current in-field challenges.
  • Work closely with the wider Learning and Development team to ensure desired outcomes are met.
  • Manage direct report's personal and professional development.
  • Occasionally delivery of training if required.
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
  • Experience within the Construction, Environmental or Agriculture sector.
  • Knowledge of RDO Equipment's line of products.
  • Previous experience in leading a high functioning Learning and Development function.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with direct reports, internal customers, personnel, and management.
  • Qualification in Training and Assessment (TAE or Similar)
  • A credible and capable people-leader
  • Proven ability to build relationships with direct reports, internal customers, personnel, and management.
  • Advanced communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Mechanical Trade Certification will be highly regarded.
