Training & Recruitment Manager
The Role
This exciting role is designed for someone looking to utilize their recruitment and training skills and lift the business’ greatest assets, its people. Reporting to the General Manager you will have a hands-on role working alongside the leadership group and branch managers in recruiting new team members and inducting them into our business.
Developing and implementing training strategies and methods to improve performance, safety and compliance are key requirements, Face to face, one on one training on new packages and remedial training with team members at all levels will be a big part of the role as the company relentlessly develops better methods and systems.
Taking ownership of the company’s stunning HR & Training System that was developed and built internally using both AI and bots that manages recruitment, induction and training as well as performance is an exciting component of the role.

The Daniel Transport Group has an impressive history over two decades of growing from a one man, one truck operation to employing over 100 team members operating from branches in Brisbane, Coffs Harbour Grafton, and Lismore.
The business invests in people, systems, training, and equipment and is about to commence building a new facility in South Grafton.
Developing systems to provide better tools for our people, improve performance and enhance our value to customers is fundamental within the business.
The Person
We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for getting the right people on board, promoting the company’s standards and ideals and developing our people across the company.
The person we are looking for will have great people skills and an excellent communicator and a flair for creating easy to understand processes and training aids.
A knowledge of training fundamentals and HR practices is only desirable. We are more focused on looking for someone who will grow with the business and has the capacity to lift our people by recruiting the right candidate and developing the entire team.
