THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to continued growth through new business, we are currently seeking applications for a motivated Transport Administrators to join our Afternoon administration team at our Forrestfield Depot in Perth. Supporting Transport Operations department, the Transport Logistics Administrator is responsible for ensuring the accurate checking and reconciliation of all the drivers trip paperwork and data entry of the information into the internal system.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will provide administrative data entry support for our cross-dock freight departures across the afternoon and evening Monday to Friday
The primary duties of the role will include:
- Creating Manifest consignments and updating as informed by dock personnel.
- Liaising with Dock operational staff to ensure all customer freight requirements are correct.
- Ensuring that all transport documents are correctly completed and compiled ready for departure in the drivers travel packs.
- Data Entry of Con notes & POD.
- Scanning paperwork into the freight system.
- Sorting connotes by destinations.
- Ad hoc administrative duties as directed by the Administration Manager.
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This is an exciting role where the successful applicant will have an opportunity to further their career in a leading WA provider of temperature-controlled transport & logistics.
To be successful for this role applicants must:
- Be willing to work a Monday - Friday roster starting at 3pm and finishing around midnight.
- Be reliable with your attendance.
- Have previous experience as an administrator in the transport industry .
- Be able to prioritise high volume of work and work in a fast-paced environment to meet service departure times
- Have excellent time management skills
- Have a positive attitude with the willingness to learn
- Be a team player
- Have a genuine care factor for the needs of the internal and external customer
