The Logistics and Transport Manager has various responsibilities. The manager coordinates 3PL operations, order fulfilment, complex transport schedules, and building relationships with different internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is hands-on and an expert with transport scheduling. Previous experience in a manufacturing operation and the ability to analyse stock and report management are essential.DUTIES
- Provide updated forecasting to internal Customer Service and Transport Scheduling teams
- Coordinate daily transport schedules with drivers (internal and 3rd party)
- Monitor dispatch KPI's to stores, including pick accuracy and DIFOT metrics
- Ensure CoR, SOP and WHS procedures are updated and implemented
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with reporting, costs, IT initiatives and new staff onboardingSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 years experience in a Transport and Logistics role with a manufacturer
- Experience leading a team is imperative
- Experienced working with and implementing CoR
- Strong stakeholder relationship experience with a proactive approach to the workplace
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, working onsite with transport operatorsCOMPANY CULTURE
