This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our Australian logistics and setting the strategy as we become Suntory Oceania.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading the national transport operations and freight forwarding team with a key focus on effective management of transport providers
- Leading the implementation og major AU delivery projects – TMS and establishing new linehaul freight contracts.
- Embedding new suppliers into the business and ensuring they are meeting agreed SLA’s
- Contributing to the development of the transport strategy for Oceania Suntory in Australia
- Managing the transport budget (~40m) and identifying areas for cost savings
- Leading and developing a high performing team.
What’s in your toolkit?
- Previous experience managing customer and supplier relationships
- Problem solving mindset – you will come up with innovative solutions to challenges
- Ability to build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and proven ability managing large budgets
- Proven experience negotiating and managing large contracts
- Strong leadership experience with proven experience growing and leading high performing teams
