With a recently commissioned state of the art facility ,our client is creating a truly circular economy by giving billions of used plastic bottles and containers a new life. Our facilities enable plastic waste to be recycled locally and made into new bottles and packaging, rather than ending up in landfill.

As part of this growth, they are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Technical Purchasing Office to commence ongoing casual with the view to permanent transition.

This is a hands on role that will see you actively involved in the distribution area, maintenance and production.

Some of main duties will include;
• Technical purchasing for the Facility
• Working within the workshop
• Coordinating the spare parts inventory
• Stock take
• Stock allocation and relocation
• 3 month temp role if required to go longer it will

Your first task will be to reorganise the stores room to set up dedicated allocations and processes.

In addition to your proven purchasing experience, we need someone who has a mechanical background but is also good with technology as you will need to create spreadsheets and a booking system for stock. Their role will also include desk bound duties working on various purchasing processes.
