Following the recent release of new Western Star and MAN truck models to the Australian market, this is an exciting time to be joining Penske as a Truck Sales Representative. Market and sell trucks and heavy vehicle products to retail customers.
In this role you will:
Sell Western Star, MAN and Dennis Eagle trucks and heavy vehicle products direct to retail customers.
Develop and implement strategies for territory management and expansion of our customer base.
Establish your profile within the industry by building networks and using industry contacts to achieve business goals.
Marketing and presentation of trucks to customers.
Ensure trucks are prepared for delivery in a timely manner and to a standard that exceeds customer expectation.
About you:
Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle products and specifications
Experience in selling and developing business
Proven ability to manage time and competing priorities effectively
High level communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
Strong presentation and proposal/tender development skills
Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Database and Customer Relationship Management tools)
Heavy Vehicle licence is desirable
Business or Marketing qualification is desirable
