Working an 8:6 roster, departing from Perth you'll fly directly to Plutonic arriving within 90mins of departure. Once onsite you are accommodated in a well-established camp that boasts a substantial gym, squash courts, multipurpose court, pool, and modern ensuite rooms with WiFi, just to list some of the facilities.
The Role
Reporting to the UG Electrical Supervisor, UG HV Electricians are responsible for quality preventative, planned and breakdown maintenance services to our Underground Electrical infrastructure including our fleet of Sandvik Jumbo’s DD421 and DL432i Solos.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Western Australian Electrician’s Licence Certificate of Registration
- Recognised OEM and or 3rd party Training and diagnostic skills
- Proven mentoring and mine site experience in an underground environment.
- Quality workmanship with excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong knowledge of underground electrical infrastructure, installation and fault diagnosis.
- Experience with underground dewatering pumps.
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety.
- Highly motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a positive work ethic.
- Current Manual "C" Class WA Drivers Licence.
- Recognised High Voltage Electrical Switching Certificate (preferred)
- Breakdown and maintenance repairs on Sandvik underground drilling equipment.
- Installation and breakdown repairs of underground remote systems (RCT).
- Installation, breakdown and maintenance of underground communication and network systems.
