You'll play a vital role in supporting our crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
The Role:
As our Undergrounds Construction Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting crews to ensure safe, efficient, and effective completion of projects.
- Monitoring quality control of internal and subcontractor work.
- Ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.
- Resource management of plant, labor, and subcontractors.
- Client and governing body liaison, including Water Corp, Atco Gas, and local authorities.
- Development and training of junior underground employees.
We're looking for someone with:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience supervising land development, underground, pavement, and earthworks projects.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and direct supervision experience.
- The ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
- Commitment to occupational health and safety (OSH).
- A valid Construction White Card, driver's license, and ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
