Jackson Motor Company has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Officer to join the team of dedicated and skilled professionals in our busy Devonport dealership.
About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life cycle of our vehicle inventory, from manufacturer to delivery, including unique orders, allotments and direct purchases. This role requires an organised, detail orientated and customer focused person to act as an important link point between the sales team, our manufacturers and our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Positively engage with clients, identify their needs and exceed expectations
- Maintain and effectively communicate specialised product knowledge
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Perform general administrative duties including booking appointments, processing documents and data entry, requiring accuracy and attention to detail.
About you:
You're bubbly, poised, capable, forward-thinking and driven to exceed targets and expectations. A strong work ethic and your readiness to assist will set you apart. You are forward-thinking, well-presented and have the ability to multitask.
You will also have:
- Previous experience in a professional customer service role with a track record of effectively managing customer queries and complaints
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to take initiative, be innovative and solve problems in a professional and approachable manner
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Intermediate/advanced level computer literacy
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
- Competence in general spelling and grammar
- An excellent ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and self-motivated approach to work and the ability to accept responsibility and take ownership to achieve desired outcomes.
This role includes direct customer contact and reception duties. A professional friendly corporate appearance and persona are required at all times.
This role requires an 8am start time Monday to Friday.
