We are looking for a Venue Manager to join the team at Spanton Hospitality for the launch of our latest venue. We are an expanding group that currently own and operate Piccolo Bar & Vermuteria in Sydney's Kings Cross. The Spanton Group is also responsible for publishing Australian Bartender Magazine and hosting Sydney Bar Week.
This is an exciting new role for someone looking to grow their experience and be a key part of a brand new venue launch.

CORE ROLE TASKS:
- ROSTERING (MANAGEMENT OF WAGE BUDGETS)
- MANAGE VENUE SICK DAYS AND HOLIDAY REQUESTS AND FIND REPLACEMENTS WHEN NEEDED
- CONTROL LABOUR (BREAKS & CASUAL WAGE MANAGEMENT)
- STOCKTAKE & ORDERING WITHIN PROVIDED BUDGETS
- RECRUITMENT & TRAINING
- MENU UPDATES (DEVELOPMENT OF MENUS AND POS UPDATES)
- CREATE/UPDATE VENUE SYSTEMS & CHECKLISTS
- MANAGE SUPPLIERS (DELIVERY/INVOICES/STOCK ISSUES)
- MAINTAIN STANDARDS FOR BOTH FOOD AND BEVERAGE
- MANAGE LIGHTING, SOUND AND TEMPERATURE DURING SHIFT
- RESOLVE ANY ISSUES OR COMPLAINTS AND FOLLOW UP WHEN NEEDED
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL:
- HAVE MIN. 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A VENUE MANAGAMENT OR SIMILAR MANAGEMENT ROLE
- AN EYE FOR DETAIL
- HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE AND ABILITY TO DEAL WITH STAFF AND CUSTOMERS
