  • Werribee based with onsite parking
  • Salary from $80,937.21 (pro-rata) plus super and a fortnightly RDO

 A bit about the role

As a result of an internal transition, we are actively seeking an experienced professional to maintain Cultural Venues buildings, its location and surrounds to the defined standards for both venue asset management purposes and intended occupant use functionality.  You’ll liaise with clientele, external contractors, and internal Council departments to ensure optimum outcomes in maintenance processes, prevention, and client experience.

What you will deliver

  • Coordinate works required, often in collaboration with Facilities Management, to ensure the optimal effectiveness of Cultural Venues buildings in terms of functionality, amenity, and affordability.
  • Direct facilities services and Cultural Venues engaged contractors in the effective implementation of predictive, planned, and reactive venue services within budgets, OH&S and asset management practices. 
  • Liaise with Facilities Management to schedule maintenance of all Cultural Venues building and equipment to provide occupants and tenants with safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient buildings and structures in which to undertake service activities, in accordance with agreed services levels and budgets.
  • Undertake administrative and reporting tasks, ensuring the provision of guidance and advice to staff and the leadership team to facilitate consistent and effective practices. 

What you will bring

  •  Driver’s license is essential.
  • An understanding of administrative financial systems and processes.
  • Experience developing guidelines and procedures for staff.
  •  Demonstrated competency with IT systems for business operations such as client databases, scheduling and purchasing systems.
  •   Degree or diploma with little relevant work experience, or through lesser qualifications with relevant experience within the venue management field.
  •  A continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
