Vertical Garden Maintenance Manager

Vertical Gardens Australia (VGA) are seeking an experienced maintenance specialist to join our supportive and diverse Victorian team.

Your role will involve our green walls, green roofs & plants across VIC. You will work within an inclusive and supportive team that will help you grow and develop alongside our brand. The role is split into three components:

• Organisation of the maintenance schedule
• On site maintenance to existing gardens
• Sales and quoting to new maintenance opportunities

Roles and responsibilities of the position:

Your working week will consist of the following:

• Scheduling and team co-ordination ( 16 hours per week)
• Maintenance to our clients green walls ( 16 hours per week )
• General Admin & quoting ( 8 hours per week )
• These tasks will include:
• Client and stakeholder liaison
• Driving from site to site
• Testing irrigation and drip system requirements
• Understanding fertigation
• Treating plants that have signs of pest or disease
• Provide reporting on each maintenance job
• Provide a handover presentation to new clients

About you:

• Passionate for all things greenery
• Ability to juggle competing tasks and prioritise work
• Strong organisation skills and great attention to detail
• Reliable and responsible whilst demonstrating a strong work ethic
• Long-term commitment to being part of a growing business
• Demonstrate strong ethical and professional standards in all internal and external communications
• Able to work effectively and communicate with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds and professions
• Sales driven and driven on meeting KPI targets

Qualifications/Prior Experience:

• A Diploma or Degree in Horticulture is highly desirable 
• Prior experience as a Garden Maintenance Worker is essential
