ABOUT THE ROLE:
The career within Manager Accountant (Business Services) will provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of Assurance services to a variety of clients from small clients to medium entities. The role will manage a broad range of accounting, tax & wealth creation processes, with the opportunity for a structured career growth. This candidate will be responsible for managing a team of accountants and reviewing their work.
You will also be managing your own profile of clients, providing the initial interaction with new clients and business advisory to help the client solve complex business issues. You must have the confidence to articulate complex issues with clients and partners, and a strategic mindset to innovate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages a team of accountants, including conducting performance evaluations.
- Coordinates training programs and identifies training needs for current staff.
- Oversee and review work performed by junior team members.
- Proven leadership experience and willingness to help drive our growth.
- Ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients.
- Presents business advisory and recommendations to clients as requested.
- Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

ABOUT YOU:
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Knowledge and experience in Xero & Xero Tax is compulsory.
- 6+ years' Financial services experience.
- Previous experience in a business advisory role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Client orientated with a desire to exceed client expectations and provide exceptional service in a timely manner.
- Ability to operate both autonomously and within a close team environment.
- Must have the legal work rights to live and work in Australia.
- Expertise in the following softwares is a bonus - APS, XPA, MYOB, XERO, and How Know.
