Pacific Components are seeking a hands on, active warehouse professional to guide, work with and optimise our existing team in transiting to our new Rocklea location.
Ideally you will have a steady history in the warehousing industry with proven results in leading a team in a hands-on manner. The successful candidate will have an open mind to try new ideas, follow existing structures and lead by example by way of work ethic, communication and reliability.
This full-time time position is ideal for those looking for long-term employment within a market-leading company that supplies industrial electrical components direct to building sites, electrical contractors and the manufacturing industry.
Pacific Components have been in business for over 20 years and have locations in Victoria and NSW, so the successful person will have plenty of support from our experienced team to get them up to speed to achieve the best results possible.
Tasks for this role will include but are not limited to:
* Oversee day to day operations of the warehouse to ensure most efficient use of time and staff
* Picking and packing of our range of components
* Invoicing and booking freight for delivery of goods
* Receipting incoming goods from our suppliers
* Manual unloading of containers
* Adhering to all OH&S regulations and making sure all staff onsite follow suit
* Replenishing stock in picking locations
* Unloading and loading of trucks with forklift
* Other various warehouse tasks
We are offering a full time Monday to Friday position with a very competitive salary while working with a friendly and helpful team to support you as you transition into the role.
