The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Wholesale Account Manager to join our team in Melbourne within our Desktop Broker business. Reporting to the Head of Wholesale Support your responsibilities will include:
- Driving customer service and operational efficiencies by fostering a deep understanding of wholesale and institutional client needs
- Handling high level queries, develop and maintain key relationships with our intermediary clients
- Managing client onboarding and proactively seek out operational solutions in support of advisors and their clients, from trading requirements to settlement follow ups, handling placements and sales support
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of wholesale operation processes, policies and controls to help anticipate client needs and manage expectations of our intermediary stakeholders
- Integrate feedback from clients into process enhancements by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external service providers
- Work closely with our project managers, business analysts and developers to champion the needs of wholesale clients and drive priority on critical IT requests
- Provide operational support for our Guided Portfolio Services (GPS) product, an investment strategy solution in partnership with Dash
About You
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and customers
- A passion for relationship management and demonstrate strong client presentation skills
- Comfortable in dealing directly with high level executives of external clients
- A good understanding of ASX operating rules and AML requirements
- Experience with Iress Pro is a plus
- Proven ability to successfully balance competing requirements.
